Judging Criteria
Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprised of Wisconsin business leaders and members of the academic community, and scored based on five elements:

- Amount of Scholarship
§ Amount and number of scholarships to be determined annually by the Benton Alumni Association Scholarship Committee. Scholarship proceeds will be payable to the post-secondary learning institution during the first week of January each year. Scholarship recipients will be required to provide a copy of 1st semester grades to the Treasurer of the Benton Alumni Association (Myrna Sysko) prior to the distribution of funds.

- The student must be present at the SREC Annual Meeting held on April 11, 2026.
- After successful completion of the student's first semester (Fall 2026) of post-secondary education and receiving at least 12 colelge credits at a minimum 'C' aveage for that semester, a $1,000 check will be made payable to the school for second semester tuition. If the student fails to meet these qualifications, the scholarship will be awareded ot teh alternate if they have met all the same requirements.

$1,000.00 The scholarship will be paid in two installments; $500.00 will be paid upon completion of the student’s first semester at the school of his/her choice. A transcript of the first semester, showing a GPA of at least 2.75, must be presented. The second half of the scholarship will be paid at the end of the second semester, upon presenting a transcript reflecting at least a 3.0 GPA for the second semester.

The Argyle Rod and Gun Club Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship and is available to students who have been demonstratively involved in organized, competitive Shooting Sports during their school tenure. The Scholarship is available to students who have successfully completed High School and been accepted into secondary education. Both four year and two year / trade curriculums will be considered. Preference will be given to curriculums that produce the basic needs of society and provide a good return on investment for the student. Award decisions will be made by the Argyle Rod and Gun Club Board of Directors. It will be paid upon the successful completion of the first semester and enrollment in the second semester of the program for which the student has applied. |
