High School seniors who are graduating in 2026 and live in the areas served by Mediacom are eligible. 

Scholarship awardees may attend any accredited two-year or four-year college, university, technical or vocational school within the United States.

Premier Cooperative is proud to support graduating high school seniors pursuing an Ag Short Course or any 2+ year accredited degree. To be eligible for a scholarship awarded at Premier Cooperative’s January 2026 Annual Meeting, applicants must:

1. Be a graduating high school senior in the class of 2026.

2. Be the child of an active member of Premier Cooperative. Active members must have conducted over $1,500 of patronage business with Premier from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025.

3. Submit an essay on "What agriculture means to rural America", with a minimum length of 200 words.

Scholarship winners will be announced during the January annual meeting. The number of winners and the actual size of the scholarships will be determined by the board of directors. Please note that not all scholarships may be awarded.

Any Wisconsin resident enrolling in a college or vocational/technical school in a course of study leading to a two- or four-year degree in police science, criminal justice, or law enforcement-related field - which does not include law school - is eligible.

• Have at least a 3.0 GPA, or show consistent academic improvement over time
• Plan to attend a Wisconsin-based accredited Higher Education Institution (two or four year) starting in the fall of 2026

Judging Criteria

Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprised of Wisconsin business leaders and members of the academic community, and scored based on five elements:

​High school graduates interested in one-or two-year programs, as well as current technical college students in the first year of a two-year program.
Currently working or committed to work in a member dealership.
Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

1) All active members for the 2025 fiscal year (9/1/2024 - 8/31/2025) of ALCIVIA and their children are eligible to receive an ALCIVIA Scholarship, including employees and directors. Grandchildren of members are not allowed to apply if their parents are not members/employees of the cooperative.

The applicant must:

1. Be a resident of Wisconsin

2. Be a graduate of an accredited high school

3. Show a sincere desire and interest in furthering his/her education

4. Plan to attend an accredited university, college, or two-year technical college

5. Have been in a Title I Program between early childhood and grade 12

6. Submit the completed scholarship form postmarked by midnight, March 1, 2024.

For students who will be attending an accredited college, university or technical school. Must be pursuing a career in an agriculture-related field. Preference given for a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Must be involved in school and community activities.

One scholarship for a graduating senior from Benton High School who will be attending an accredited college, university, or technical school pursuing a career in agriculture (including but not limited to: furthering biological, sustainable environmentally friendly farming practices and/or similar agricultural research and education).  Preference may be given for financial need but is not a restriction.

Established to provide for post high school educational opportunities for graduating high school seniors who have attended Benton High School for all four years and actively participated in extra-curricular activities.

Students must be pursuing post-high school education in the field of agriculture or agri-business.

Must intend to pursue a degree in the field of agriculture, life science, biology and/or chemistry. 

Must be a  female senior who intends to pursue a degree (university, college, or technical school) in the field of health care sciences.

§  Amount and number of scholarships to be determined annually by the Benton Alumni Association Scholarship Committee.  Scholarship proceeds will be payable to the post-secondary learning institution during the first week of January each year.  Scholarship recipients will be required to provide a copy of 1^st semester grades to the Treasurer of the Benton Alumni Association (Myrna Sysko) prior to the distribution of funds.

$1,000.00  The scholarship will be paid in two installments; $500.00 will be paid upon completion of the student’s first semester at the school of his/her choice.  A transcript of the first semester, showing a GPA of at least 2.75, must be presented.  The second half of the scholarship will be paid at the end of the second semester, upon presenting a transcript reflecting at least a 3.0 GPA for the second semester.

4.                 Presentation:

The announcement of the recipient will be made on Awards Night.  Each year, the winning student’s name will be engraved on a plaque which hangs in Benton High School.
